    We may be headed into the deep winter months, but the sights and sounds of summer are sticking with us this year! In late July, Bishop-Wisecarver was a collaborative partner for a new two-week Robotics Summer Camp for local high school students and we can still hear their problem solving discussions and see their excitement as their projects were planned and tested.

    The FIRST robotics challenge kicked off internationally in January and the excitement is still intense! As we enter our 12th year of sponsoring FIRST Robotics teams, we love seeing the students learn new skills and succeed in unexpected challenges. And when teams make it to the championships – that’s a bonus! Congrats to the all-female TigerBots of Notre Dame High School in Belmont, Calif. who made it to the world championships in 2018!

  8. Power-Up from The Fembots!

    Power-Up! This was the theme of the 2017-18 First Robotics Competition and focused on two alliances of video game characters and their human operators who are trapped in an arcade game. Both alliances are working to defeat the boss in order to escape.
