Reflecting on 2025, Ready for What's Next!

What a year it’s been at Bishop-Wisecarver®! As we wrap up 2025, we’re taking a moment to reflect on the milestones, celebrations, and people who made this year one to remember.

First off, we celebrated our 75th anniversary. What began as a small machine shop and Bud Wisecarver’s determination to solve tough problems has grown into an industry leader known for innovative automation solutions that perform in the harshest environments. Led today by Pamela Kan, Bud’s daughter and company President since 1999, Bishop-Wisecarver remains family-owned, women-led, and guided by the same inventive spirit that started it all. We are excited to keep the celebration going into 2026, so stay tuned for what’s to come!

This year also marked a major milestone with the launch of Wisecarver Automation, our new division that brings our decades of engineering expertise into the world of fully integrated automation systems. By combining mechanical design, control systems integration, and manufacturing under one roof, we’re helping customers take their automation challenges from concept to completion with greater precision and efficiency than ever before.

We had various prestigious recognition for both our innovation and our people. Sara Morales, our Quality Supervisor, was honored as an Emerging Leader by the California Manufacturers & Technology Association (CMTA). We were proud to be named Manufacturer of the Year (Medium MFR) at the Association of Manufacturers Bay Area MFG Awards! Plus, we were recertified as a Certified Evergreen® company by the Tugboat Institute.

Sustainability continued to be a cornerstone of our work. We achieved a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, placing us among the top 15% of companies worldwide. These recognitions reflect our ongoing efforts to create lasting value, for our customers, our team, and the planet.

Of course, we never forget the importance of inspiring the next generation. This year, we hosted more than 110 students for our 14th annual Manufacturing Day, continued sponsoring FIRST® and VEX robotics teams, and supported STEM programs throughout our community. And we couldn’t be prouder of our sponsored BattleBots team, Skorpios, who took home the Faceoff win!

As we look ahead to 2026, we're grateful for everyone who made this year so special: our customers, partners, team members, and community. From 75 years of innovation to new ventures and industry recognition, every milestone reflects the problem-solving spirit that's driven us from the start. Thank you for being part of our story, and here's to another great year ahead!
