As students head back to school this fall, classrooms and workshops across the country are buzzing with energy, and for many, that means gearing up for an exciting season of competitive robotics. At Bishop-Wisecarver®, we’ve been fueling that enthusiasm since 2007 through our sponsorship of FIRST® Robotics at both the national and regional levels, and our ongoing support of local VEX Robotics teams.
Over the years, we proudly contributed with our expertly designed products, including MadeWell® radial wheels and DualVee® wheels and tracks, and our most recent donation, the MinVee® Linear Slide Kit. These components, trusted by engineers worldwide, were donated to help student teams bring their visions to life and spark their interest in automation and motion. Our commitment has also earned us recognition as a Gold Supplier for the FIRST 2025 season, a distinction that reflects both the quality of our products and our dedication to advancing STEM education.
This year’s FIRST theme, AGE™, invites teams to explore the world of archaeology, digging into the past to inspire the designs and problem-solving approaches of the future. We are excited and look forward to seeing what the game will look like and how our sponsored robotics teams are going to tackle the challenges!
Our sponsorships are just one way we support students. Through initiatives like our annual Wisecarver Innovation Design Contest, and hosting National Manufacturing Day, we help spark curiosity, build skills, and inspire the innovators who will shape the future of manufacturing.
This school year, as these teams roll up their sleeves and bring their designs to life, we’re proud to stand beside them. We look forward to seeing some familiar faces and meeting new ones, each bringing their own creativity, drive, and excitement to the season ahead.
