Our Profile Rail Linear Motion Guides encompass an extensive range of linear bearings, catering to applications from precision miniature ball-based designs to robust heavy-duty roller-based versions. Engineered for excellence, these guides deliver whisper-quiet linear motion and unparalleled rigidity, making them ideal for even the most demanding applications.
Key Features
- Customizable for Harsh Environments: Enhance your application’s suitability with our standard options tailored for extreme conditions, including:
- Clean Room: Specialized options for contamination-free environments.
- Vacuum: Designed to perform in low-pressure settings.
- High-Temperature: Capable of withstanding extreme heat without compromising performance.
- Dust or Contamination: Sealed and protected to prevent ingress of dust and debris.
- Weld Splatter: Resistant to weld splatter, ensuring longevity in manufacturing settings.
- Versatile Designs: From compact miniature ball guides to durable heavy-duty rollers, we offer a solution for every need.
- Low-Noise Operation: Ensures quiet and smooth movement, ideal for environments where noise reduction is crucial.
- High Rigidity: Provides exceptional stability and support, ensuring reliable performance under heavy loads.
- Direct Drop-In Replacements: Many of our general-purpose profile rail versions are designed to seamlessly replace competitive alternatives, simplifying upgrades and replacements.
Advanced Engineering
- Precision and Error-Absorbing Design: Our Linear Motion Guides use smooth-circulating rolling elements that support high load capacities with equal load distribution in four directions, offering high rigidity and excellent precision after assembly. The auto-adjusting capability enhances error absorption, improving overall accuracy.
- Enhanced Stability and Rigidity: By employing rolling elements like balls or rollers, our guides allow for preloading that increases rigidity and stability. This makes them ideal for applications requiring precise, stable movement over extended periods.
- Low Friction and High-Speed Performance: The guides maintain low frictional force and minimal wear, enabling long-term precision, low noise, and high-speed operation. The minimal difference between static and kinetic friction, along with reduced speed-induced friction fluctuations, ensures precise and smooth positioning.
- Simple Lubrication and Maintenance: Maintenance is straightforward with options for grease or oil lubrication, ensuring the guides remain in optimal condition with minimal effort.
- Compact Design: Solutions such as the S Series guides provide a slim, low profile solution for compact machinery. Miniature M Series and MB Series are small yet highly rigid and reliable guides, helping to reduce the total profile of equipment and machinery.

A Range of Designs to Meet Your Challenges
- H Series (as well as H…S and HB Series) use ball bearings in four row circular-arc raceway grooves of the rail and block.
- S Series (and S…S Series) use ball bearings in four row circular-arc raceway grooves of the rail and block, but with a slim, more compact profile than the H Series.
- M Series (and MB Series) use ball bearings in gothic-arch raceway grooves of the miniature rail and block. The corrosion-resistant stainless steel construction and miniature size are ideal for medical equipment, scientific and laboratory settings, and cleanrooms.
- HB Series and MB Series use wide rail designs and more ball bearings over the standard H and M Series blocks. This provides increased rigidity and sufficient moment capacity to run a single-axis system in narrow spaces.
- R Series uses cylindrical rollers in raceway grooves; the wider contact area compared to balls provides higher load capacity, rigidity, and overall life.
- All series share the following characteristics:
- Internal bearing elements positioned at a 45° contact angle to reduce friction resistance, ensuring smooth motion and long life
- 4-direction equal load type: can bear equal vertical, tensile, and horizontal loads
- Preloaded bearing elements enhance rigidity and minimize deformation under external loads
Our Profile Rail Linear Motion Guides are not just components; they are solutions designed to optimize performance, reliability, and efficiency across a wide range of industrial applications. Whether you’re upgrading existing systems or designing new machinery, our guides provide the adaptability and robustness you need to excel in today’s competitive landscape.
Explore our range and discover how our innovative linear motion solutions can transform your operations.
Surface Treatment
- Black Cr plating: sleek-looking corrosion resistance at low cost
- Raydent coating (black Cr + fluoride resin): high corrosion resistance and cleanroom environments
- Hard chrome plating (HCr): maximum wear resistance while maintaining corrosion resistance.
Protection
- End seals, double end seals, side seals, and inner seals: protect against ingress from a variety of particle sizes
- LF seals: solid lubricant that provides consistent lubrication over long intervals while sealing from debris
- Metal scrapers: excellent for scraping off weld spatter and slag
Precision Tolerance
Linear motion guides are available in a variety of precision classes where tolerances for dimensional variation, or accuracy of travel such as parallelism, are defined in bracketed versions. Options for selecting precision classes include:
- Moderate, High P6 (H), Precision P5 (P), Super Precision P4 (SP), Ultra Precision P3 (UP)
Preload and Radial Clearance
A linear motion guide is preloaded in a way that improves mechanical precision by eliminating clearance using the rolling element (ball or roller) inserted into the space between a rail and a block. Options for selecting radial clearance include:
- Moderate, Light (G1), Heavy (G2), or Special (Gs)
Spacer Slides Option
H…S and S…S configurations incorporate ball spacers that prevent ball collisions, improve frictional properties, and create lubrication pockets. The result is:
- Noise reduction
- Exceptionally smooth motion
- Extended system life and reduced maintenance
- Minimized wear and particle generation
