The position of Chief Operating Officer has been designed to partner with the owner and CEO, Pamela Kan, in realizing the vision set out for the company. All commercial and operational elements of the business will report to the COO: product development, engineering, sales, manufacturing, supply chain and facilities. The successful candidate will have responsibility for and leadership experience in several of the following areas: applications engineering, product development, manufacturing, business development, sales and marketing. The ability to lead these functions and a demonstrated skill in successfully growing revenue in both existing and new applications are essential. Technical knowledge and expertise are foundational. It is not a requirement that candidates have previously served as a COO. In fact, our preference is to invite someone who has not yet served as COO to step into this role.
The successful candidate will also have a personal philosophy of the duties of leadership that aligns with our company’s values and culture. We are looking for someone who has meaningful experience leading diverse types of professionals in the functional areas noted above, applying the concepts of servant leadership and coaching people to achieve their highest potential.
