Not all motion needs are linear, which is where HepcoMotion’s PRT, DTS, and the Commercial product lines come in. This innovative range of products is all designed to save time when undertaking simple or complex assembly operations. Our product lines offer an economical version of a rotary table. Continuous motion products will replace the need for a number of linear movements where assembly operations specifically are being carried out. The PRT line offers ring and track systems, while the DTS line offers actuated ring and track systems. For rotary table customers seeking a more economical version and where high accuracy is not required, the Commercial series offers a great alternative.
Take the smoothness of DualVee linear motion technology and apply it to your rotary table needs. HepcoMotion Vee guide wheels are an excellent choice for circular motion needs because they can make transitions from straight to curved track sections easily. Straight and curved track sections can be arranged in an infinite array of patterns to create the non-linear motion profile you need from a rotary table.
The PRT series slide rings are manufactured from high quality steel, zone hardened on the V edges and precision ground all over, with datum register faces provided both internally and externally for ease of location. Gear drive options are available with teeth machined into either the internal or external register face. The number of teeth on the standard external option is divisible by 12 in order to provide maximum choice of pinion size for exact ratio requirements. The incorporation of one drive providing the motion for multi carriages enables rapid movement between assembly stations, and will not only reduce system design costs, but will enable the whole assembly process to be carried out more quickly. Complete systems and rotary tables are available, with the drive and machine base as in the DTS product or as a ring and track system with assembled wheel plates, the drive then being incorporated within the machine design.
