T RACE SF Series

BALLRACE SF Series linear guides are designed to be to be simple, functional and practical. The SF rails are formed by one or more sliders moving in a ball-cage inside a longer rail. The rail has been hardened through high depth nitriding and is then treated with the innovative TRACE-NOX process which delivers excellent corrosion resistance. This cutting edge ball-cage linear guide system is able to maintain constant preload as well as smooth, low noise motion. Available in a standard, double slider in single ball-cage or double slider in independent ball-cage configurations, SF ball-cage linear guides are able to accommodate multiple industry applications. Coming with a sleek black finish and nitriding hardened profiles, SF Ball-cage linear rails are sure to be highly resistant to both corrosion and basic wear.

SF/SR Series Comparison

The SF/SR ball-cage series are a very simple linear rail formed by one or more sliders moving in a ball-cage inside a longer rail. The components are the same of the SR series with the same excellent characteristics. The series SF is composed of a slider, moving inside the outer rail and ball-cage. The stroke is limited by the ball-cage and length of outer rail. Many standard versions are available. 

The SR series is a semi-telescopic slide, allowing a half stroke on each side, easy to customize to provide until 85% extension both sides. For corrosive environments the SRX version available with stainless steel hardware.
 
The SF series is a self contained slide where the Ball-cage slider does not extend beyond the length of the rail.

The slides are provided with a screw that limits the stroke of the movable sliders in one direction for a stroke equal to H, by removing the screw it is possible to move the sliders in the opposite direction to obtain a double stroke equal to 2H. The slide may be produced on request with stroke increased or diminished. For example, with an extraction of 75% compared with the standard extraction of 50%, the load capacity is reduced to 20% of the load capacity Co rad indicated in the table.
