Production Worker 4th Class

Are you ready to deliver the "Signature Experience"?

If so Bishop-Wisecarver may be the place for you.

Not all of California’s innovation comes from Silicon Valley…

Our founder, Bud Wisecarver, is somewhat of a mechanical genius – his patents and his business are proof of that. When asked why he started the business so many years ago, he said it was because he was able to solve mechanical problems that no one else could solve. Bud’s knack for innovation ranged from formal proposals and designs, to hasty chalk talks, sometimes diagrammed on the factory floor!

Bishop-Wisecarver is seeking a new Production Worker 4th Class, who is able to complete basic set ups and operation for equipment primarily in the track production department, including the polishing and cut-off lines. The Production Worker 4th Class must be able to trouble shoot and adjust for problems on machines for which they have been specifically trained.

The Production Worker 4th Class is capable of interpreting cut sheets, and production/inspection instructions primarily for track production. Must be capable of completing necessary production reporting and quality documentation for equipment operated.

Capable in the use of basic measuring tools such as fixed gauging and rules at production stations for which they operate. Calipers and micrometers may be used on a limited basis.

Must be readily adaptable to other tasks as required, and may be required to assist in other production departments including machine shop operations, maintenance activities, and shipping and receiving. May perform miscellaneous cleaning and sweeping as well as routine servicing and lubrication of production equipment.
