Mechanical Engineer

Are you ready to deliver the "Signature Experience"?

If so Bishop-Wisecarver may be the place for you.

Not all of California’s innovation comes from Silicon Valley…

Our founder, Bud Wisecarver, is somewhat of a mechanical genius – his patents and his business are proof of that. When asked why he started the business so many years ago, he said it was because he was able to solve mechanical problems that no one else could solve. Bud’s knack for innovation ranged from formal proposals and designs, to hasty chalk talks, sometimes diagrammed on the factory floor!

Bishop-Wisecarver is seeking a Mechanical Engineer, who employs sound engineering principals to design and optimize mechanical systems and components. Conducts mechanical and life testing of components and systems designed in house as well as from outside suppliers. As part of his/her engineering activities a Mechanical Engineer will also be conducting and documenting numerical (FEA) as well as analytical studies of mechanical systems and components. Perform trouble shooting and failure mode analysis on mechanical components and systems. Manage engineering tasks and projects per company's goals and priorities.
