Bishop-Wisecarver is seeking a new Digital Technical Architect/System Developer, who will provide technical strategy and direction to ensure that the business application is effectively implemented and managed across departments. The candidate will offer best practices and recommendations for process integration, application development, deployment and ongoing enhancements for the different business platform.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Define, document, and communicate technical solutions to business needs.
  • Ensure all software development project is managed under version control and release management. Experienced with code branching, test, user acceptance test, and production.
  • Provide architectural solutions to address digital technology issues than hinder achievement of company goals.
  • Liaise with business managers to design an operating model that integrates business processes with technical digital solutions.
  • Conduct evaluation of available company assets to generate results which is helpful in identifying capability gaps that need to be filled in order to achieve set goals.
  • Provide ongoing, maintenance, support and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
  • Ability to design and develop integrations between different business applications.
  • Provide management and administrative support of digital communication systems; including training and orientation for staff ad administrations.
  • Participate in ongoing research and evaluation of new technologies and understand their impact.
  • Assists with general technical support for staff.
  • Assists with IT inventory and records maintenance.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent working experience
  • Hands-on programming experience using relevant languages
  • Strong written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience managing the software development lifecycle
  • Project management and planning - Possesses strategic thinking combined with tactical project planning and management skills
  • Proficiency with the C#, SQL, PHP, Java, Python
  • Knowledge and experience building APIs and service using Rest, Soap, etc.
  • Knowledge of Office 365, MS SQL server
  • Knowledge and Experience with Syspro is a plus
  • Experience in ERP and CRM custom development
  • Familiarity with developing Logichooks within SugarCRM is preferred
  • SugarCRM Developer and/or Solution Architect certification is a plus.
